Cookie Confessions

Remember my disastrous cookie-making attempt a few days ago? I was hoping to redeem myself, and make a delicious homemade cookie that I could serve to hubby warm from the oven and earn a gazillion good wifey points. I've done it! Well...kind of. They look good.  Hubby likes them.  My neighbor liked them so much I got a thank you note! You guys are probably all really excited for the recipe, right? Luckily I did make some roasted broccoli on the side so that made the meal tolerable.  How do you redeem a so-so dinner? By making a yummy dessert, of course! I looked up a new recipe for nutella cookies---if there's nutella as an ingredient it can't be all that bad, right? I won't bother with the recipe (they really weren't great) but here were the ingredients: I make two kinds of cookies: some chewy and gooey (for hubs) and some crispy and flat (for me)--that's why some of the...
