Yesterday I kept pushing off my run due to the heat, and finally headed out around 8:30pm. It was just starting to get darker, and in the shaded areas around the lake I was running, I couldn't see much of the ground. So imagine my surprise when I stood on a SNAKE, and it sprung up at me. Holy cow people. I was freaking out, and I'd only run about a mile at this point. I booked it so fast the half mile or so to where hubs and his friend were fishing.
